New Market Research Report: Baby and Child-Specific Products in Uruguay
In terms of value growth rates, 2012 resulted in the worst year of the review period for baby and child-specific products retail sales. The target group keeps shrinking due to declining birth rates, but the sustained good economic conditions prevailing in the country have allowed consumers in the low-income group to gain access to these products throughout the review period. These two conditions have created a sort of balance which resulted in slow, though still positive, volume growth rates.
