In 2011, hair care demonstrated a very good performance, registering current value growth of around 17% compared with the review period CAGR of about 12%. The growth in the sector was mainly fuelled by the launch of new and sophisticated products, such as Wella Pro-series by Wella AG, comprising standard shampoos and conditioners for dry hair, shinier hair and colour-treated hair.
