"Baby and Child-Specific Products in Portugal" Published
According to Euromonitor International research, Portugal's birth rate has been declining for ten years, falling from 11 births per 1,000 people in 2002 to 9.3 births per 1,000 people in 2012. The number of children in Portugal aged under 14 years old has also been in decline since 2004. The decline in the Portuguese growth birth rate contributed to the poor performance of baby and child-specific products during the review period. Baby and child-specific products declined by 5% during 2012.
