Hosiery in Egypt - New Market Study Published
Sales of hosiery were devastated by the 25 January Revolution. In 2011 each category within hosiery made a current value loss and the total category shrank by 10% to EGBP740 million. This was caused by Egyptian consumers avoiding spending on non-essential items in the period of severe austerity that followed the revolution.
