New Market Study Published: Soft Drinks in Austria
The Austrian soft drinks market was affected by maturity over the review period, with 2012 characterised by weak but stable growth in both value and volume terms. The off-trade channel continued to grow at the expense of the on-trade, mainly driven by the ongoing cocooning trend. Within the overall soft drinks market, sports and energy drinks, followed by RTD coffee, posted the strongest performance in 2012. RTD tea, on the other hand, was once again the biggest loser.
