Total volume sales of fish and seafood in Spain declined by 2% in 2012, remaining on 1.3 million tonnes. This decline was driven mainly by the poor performance of seafood as total volume sales of crustaceans dropped by 3%, whilst total volume sales of molluscs and cephalopods also declined, but by only 2%.
