Recently Released Market Study: Hot Drinks in Cameroon
Overall, hot drinks continued to grow in value terms in 2012, and at a slightly higher rate than previous years. This performance was mainly driven by malt-based hot drinks, which recorded high growth, albeit from a low base. The introduction of smaller-sized packaging was the major factor behind this growth, as it made products more affordable for the majority of consumers. Coffee witnessed a revival as Nestle continued its marketing battle to make its Nescafe brand a success in Cameroon.
