Sun Care in Canada: New Research Report Available at Fast Market Research
Current value sales of sun care grew by 5% in 2012 to reach C$178 million. Sun protection accounted for a 79% share of retail value sales, followed by self-tanning (16%) and aftersun (5%). Sun protection also recorded the fastest current value sales growth of 5% in 2012, followed by aftersun (3%) and self-tanning (2%). Retail volume sales of sun care increased by 3% in 2012; therefore, current value growth was enhanced by a 2% increase in the average unit price.
