New Market Research Report: Men's Grooming in the US
With current value growth of just under 2%, men's grooming in 2012 performed worse than in the previous two years. The category has been aided by a new variety of consumer concerned with his outer appearance, but was ultimately weighed down by weak shaving sales growth of 2% and even more sluggish growth in the highly mature subcategories, men's deodorants and men's bath and shower, each posting sales growth of just 1% in 2012.
