"Dishwashing in Hong Kong, China" Published
In 2012, dishwashing recorded value growth of 4% to reach HK$220 million. The cost of dining out in Hong Kong increased year-on-year, and more consumers cooked at home to lower the cost of dining. There is also the increasing perception that home cooked meals are healthier which again make dining at home more appealing especially to consumers who are health-conscious. As more consumers cooked at home, demand for dishwashing increased in 2012.
