New Market Research Report: Childrenswear in Romania
Childrenswear has yet to recover from the economic recession, with sales increasing very slowly. Overall, volume sales increased by 1% in 2012 while current value sales increased by 2% to reach over RON1 billion. Children always receive special treatment as they are usually top priority in terms of needs and wishes. Although Romanian consumers reduced expenditure as a result of the recession, the decline in sales of childrenswear was small in comparison to the other areas.
