Consumer knowledge regarding the damaging effects of sun exposure has increased the demand for products with higher skin protection factors as well as broad-spectrum protection, that is, protection against both UVA and UVB rays. Due to consumer preference for convenience, there has been increased demand for product formats that encourage ease of use. This includes milk and aerosol sprays, sticks, gels, non -residue and lightweight easily absorbed formulae.
