Full-Service Restaurants in Venezuela - New Market Study Published
Although Venezuelan economy recorded positive growth in 2012, many households found it difficult to maintain frequency of visits to full-service restaurants. High unit prices at restaurants were a reason for the stagnant demand. On average, spend per transaction increased 31% in current terms but this percentage was higher in particular brands. As a consequence, transactions decreased by less than -1% in 2012 despite positive population and economic growth rates.
