New Market Study, "Eyewear in Canada", Has Been Published
The overall market for prescription eyewear recorded growth of5% in current value terms in 2013, with retail volume up by 3%. The performance over the 2008-2013 review period saw current value sales rise by 15%, with volume sales increasing by 9%. Daily disposable lenses recorded the strongest growth, while a high increase in readymade reading glasses proved to be a gateway to prescription spectacle sales.
