Although it lost pace in 2012 in terms of transactions, fast food remained an attraction for many Romanians who take lunch out of the office or for those who spend the weekend in shopping malls and hypermarkets. It was directly dependent on the activity of international chains including new launches, promotions and advertising. Shopping and leisure was popular with Romanians as they had a different opinion regarding the future in 2012 compared to the previous year.
