Just Released: "Tourism Flows Outbound in Austria"
Whilst outbound Austrian tourists reduced their length of stay, they travelled more frequently and preferred high quality holidays. In 2012, fewer Austrians than ever before took two weeks off at once, while going on a foreign holiday for only a few days was increasingly popular. 40% of all outbound trips concerned 1-3 overnight stays, while one third lasted 5-8 days and less than one third had a duration of 13-15 days.
