Recent Study: Dog Food in Brazil
In 2012, the increase in the price of agricultural supplies such as corn and soybeans directly impacted the manufacturing cost of dog food, especially dry dog food, which has a significant percentage of grain in its composition. As a result, manufacturers of dog food passed on the increase in costs to the consumer, which resulted in a price increase in dog food, especially dry dog food.
