Consumer foodservice by location is strongly influenced by the consumer frequency. Thus locations with the highest consumer frequency were able to benefit in 2012. Regarding the number of outlets and the total value sales as well as the number of transactions, the retail locations clearly had the highest consumer frequency in 2012, accounting for 12% of the total transactions, followed by leisure and travel with 7% and 6% transaction share respectively and travel with 5%.
