Now Available: Soup in Canada
The mature soup category in Canada is set decline by 1% in current value and volume terms in 2013. Soups in general have had great difficulty maintaining consumer interest in recent years. Many younger consumers are simply uninterested in packaged soups, finding them boring. More opportunities, however, continue to exist in chilled products as well as developing new flavours, including ethnic flavours to tap into the changing demographic landscape in Canada.
