Soft drinks in Slovakia in 2013 recorded an only marginal, however positive, market performance. The market is close to saturation with a wide range of products and manufacturers. On the other hand, soft drinks faces persisting price-sensitivity among Slovakian consumers caused by economic downturn and persisting economic and social problems among the average population. Consequently, soft drinks recorded only 1% growth in volume and 4% in current value terms.
