Soup in Egypt - New Report Available
Soup is mainly consumed by Egyptians in the form of fresh home-made soup, with little tradition for the consumption of packaged soup in the country. The only form of packaged soup available in Egypt is dehydrated soup, which suffers due to high prices and the popularity of home-made soup. These products are typically only purchased by mid- and high-income consumers.
