Recent Study: Away-from-Home Tissue and Hygiene in Denmark
Value sales of away-from-home tissue and hygiene grew by 2% in current terms in 2013, reaching DKr762 million. Since volume sales growth in 2013 was marginal, an increase in the average unit price in current terms stimulated value growth. A low presence of private label products (eg economy goods) and the dominance of strong players (eg Abena) allowed the average unit price to grow, and thus resulted in increased current value sales.
