Sauces, Dressings and Condiments Packaging in Japan - New Market Study Published
Sauces, dressings and condiments packaging saw off-trade unit volume sales increase by 1% in 2013. This was partly due to the ongoing eating at-home trend in Japan. Due to the severe economic situation and Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami in 2011, Japanese consumers cooked at home more. Consumers use many different sauces, dressings and condiments to cook a variety of recipes with different flavours. This trend was visible throughout 2013 and led a good demand for sauces, dressings and condiments.
