Hosiery in Spain - New Market Study Published
Hosiery in Spain was another category affected by the important reduction in confidence and purchasing power amongst the middle- and lower-classes in Spain, who were amongst the most affected by the recession. As a direct consequence, consumers waited to replace their socks and tights, and, as used to be common some years ago in Spain, many consumers started mending socks at home. As a result, sales declined by 1% in current value terms in 2013.
