Personal accessories grew healthily in 2014 in value terms. Swedes enjoyed higher disposable incomes, and they often chose to upgrade personal accessories from mid-priced products to premium or even luxury bands. Accessorising became more popular, and new consumer groups began to purchase categories they had not considered of interest before. For example, more males opted for handbags and more females chose to buy a luxury watch.
