Imaging devices? retail volume sales are expected to decline by 2% in 2014, largely affected by low digital camcorder category response. A secondary factor was the fact that the economic environment was not as prosperous in either the regional or international markets. Despite active product launches and marketing initiatives by manufacturers and retailers, a relatively flat performance was recorded with slow purchasing rates.
