New Market Study, "Beer in Uzbekistan", Has Been Published
Suspension of UzCarlsberg's production in 2012 had an influence on beer sales in 2013, too. Since UzCarlsberg had led sales in terms of product variety, quality and distribution, the stop of its sales was very dramatic and beer was not capable of recovering in one year. Besides, not all UzCarlsberg fans/loyal consumers were able to switch to other domestic products, whilst imports were too expensive for regular consumption. Overall, volume sales were unable to recover positive growth in 2013.
