Packets Shrink in Supermarkets to Save Money After Brexit: Sontex Comments
It has been reported that leading supermarket brands are planning on shrinking packets and using cheaper ingredients, this is due to the sterling dropping by 10% after Brexit, consequently pushing up prices of imported ingredients. However, it was noted that many supermarkets are decreasing the size of some products such as toilet roll however the customer is still paying the same price, therefore getting less and paying more.
