Global Bio Polypropylene Market to Grow at a CAGR of 5.95% During the Period 2017-2021 Key Vendors - Braskem, Biobent Polymers, Global Bioenergies, Trellis Bioplastics
Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic polymer discovered by the joint effort of Karl Rehn, a German chemist and Montecatini, an Italian chemist in the year 1954. PP is highly popular due to its high melting point (Tm=165C) and ability to process using injection moldings. Bio PP involves the use of eco-friendly materials during the manufacture of PP. Some of the common raw materials used for manufacturing bio PP are corn, biomass, vegetable oil, and bio diesel.
