London, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/26/2016 -- House sellers are still left with little confidence following Brexit, with roughly one in three homes that are listed for sale, slashing their prices in order to receive quicker sales. According to property website Zoopla as we came into August 32.6% of houses on the market had reduced their price. When comparing house price reductions across the country it is apparent that the North of England seems to have made the most reductions, however reductions have been present almost everywhere within the UK.
The average amount that houses have been reduced across the country by is £25,257; however in areas where it is more expensive to purchase property such as Kensington and Chelsea, reductions up to £157,000 have be seen! This isn't a harmful for all however, for example - those who have always dreamed of living in London, could now get their chance to do so, without breaking the bank.
A spokesperson from London removals company Safe Removals was keen to comment saying, "For the majority of people the drop in house prices has come as negative news, however, for first time buyers this could be seen a positive, and a chance to get on the property ladder – and we can definitely say that during this period we have assisted many first time buyers with house moves. If you have just bought a house and need help moving, we could be of assistance to you also."
