Pryor, in his role with the Japan Rugby Union, employed training elements adapted from the vertical and horizontal jump events for use in training during the lead-up to the 2015 World Cup that saw Japan upset South Africa in the opening weekend of the tournament.
While Pryor's adaptation of track and field principles in his own training methods was mostly relegated to those associated with the vertical and horizontal jump events, the newly released articles cover a much wider range of possibilities in terms of adapted methodologies and the sports in which they can be applied.
