On Wednesday, November 9th, 2017 Cox Capital Management was invited to speak to the UMass Lowell Finance Society. Chief Investment Officer Bill Cox and Research Analyst/Portfolio Manager Ethan Brown presented on a variety of topics including their personal work experience, trends in the finance industry, and advice to future job seekers. Selected candidates will get hands on experience in the world of money management, gaining insight into both fundamental and quantitative research techniques. With the internship program, Mr. Cox and Mr. Brown solidified their commitment to provide opportunity for UMass Lowell's top finance majors. "UMass Lowell has made incredible strides over the past few years and is producing some really top-tier students – We are very excited to get these kids some experience and reap the benefits of what they have to offer," commented Mr. Cox. The internship program is slated to begin in January of 2018.
