Blue Sky Services has closed the purchase of another tract of land, this time in Belville, NC. This prime location, adjacent to the Brunswick and Cape Fear Rivers stands at the Gateway to Wilmington, its deep water, container seaport and numerous destination beach communities. The transaction was initially contracted with The Pantry, Inc. of Cary, but was consummated by Circle K as a successor of The Pantry through their acquisition and merger earlier this year. Nikita Zhitov of Blue Sky Services Real Estate facilitated the transaction on behalf of Belville Funding, LLC, affiliate of Preston Development, with Beverly Keith of Avison Young, Raleigh Office, who represented Circle K interests.

Your Door & More has announced that owner and illustrator Brenda Priest has partnered with the Apex Historical Society to create note card illustrations of historic Apex homes. Priest donated the illustrations to assist the society with its fund-raising efforts. These note cards are available for sale at the Maynard-Pearson house, which is home to the Apex Historical Society and The Rusty Bucket in downtown Apex, in addition to various businesses throughout Apex. Additionally, the cards will be sold at various holiday events around Apex, including the Halle Cultural Arts Center Tuesday, Nov. 30, the pancake breakfast with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus at the Salem Street Fire Station Saturday, Dec. 4 and the Apex Historical Society home tour Sunday, Dec. 5.

Carol Daley, owner of at Ease boutiques in Raleigh and Cary, has announced that at Ease will provide clothing for a fashion show being held by the Cary Area Chapter of Hadassah on Thursday, Nov. 18 at Prestonwood Country Club, located at 300 Prestonwood Parkway.
