Manufactured from engineering polymers, the Rotacaster’s injection-molded, weblike structure and over-molded rollers, ensure a durable and robust wheel with no pins, inserts or seams, making it ideal for tough environments. The fixed orientation of the wheel facilitates both simple and stable mounting alternatives that improve load stability and are less prone to impact damage.

For 20 years, we, ITO Germany, focus our attention on tracked dumpers. Used dumpers on tracks respectively crawler carriers are rare on the western market. Their excellent load along with the low ground pressure by the crawler tracks make crawler transporters popular machines on difficult ground conditions such as sludge, gravel or steep slopes. Where a conventional tipper remains stuck necessarily , the tracked dumpers drive through smoothly loading up to 15 000 kilograms due to the large load distribution.

The Rotacaster wheel combines the freedom of 360 degree movement with the stability of a fixed mounting, achieved through a patented design and monolithic, web-like construction which uses rollers rather than a swivel mount. Sold throughout Australia and exported around the world, the Rotacaster is used as a floor wheel, a conveyor wheel and in applications such as hand carts and trolleys, material handling equipment, robotics, mobile furniture, pipe rollers and as an alternative to ball transfer units.

Traditional wheels do not work in hi-temp situations. Traditional hi-temp phenolic wheels survive about 350-400°F intermittent temperatures (30 mins in/30 mins cool-off). The traditional wheels are hard and noisy when rolling on floors. The wheels run directly on the caster axle without lubricant; they squeak when in higher temperatures.
