The Industrial Leaders Group (ILG) formed in 2003 to improve the productivity, quality and global competitiveness of U.S. manufacturers announced on March 12, 2012 it will serve as the sole accreditation board for ISO certification for G-PMC, LLC. The company made the announcement after completing its nearly three year study of quality certifications being awarded to businesses in the manufacturing sector by registration bodies. According to ILG, the study was initiated back in 2009 when the company formed an independent accreditation arm tailored to the strict conformance of the International Standards Organizations policies and procedures.

March was a good month for manufacturing jobs in the U.S. In fact, manufacturing in general is growing at a steady pace, with factories adding numerous jobs and increasing output up to 53.4% last month, according to the Institute for Supply Management.
