
Cox Capital is pleased to announce UMass Lowell student Nicholas Salema as the newest addition to the investment team. Nick will be filling the role of research intern/associate. His duties will include compiling macroeconomic data, completing company-specific analyses, and operating CCM's proprietary portfolio optimization models. A Business major at UMass Lowell in his senior year, Nick has a concentration in Finance and Management and boasts a strong GPA. Prior to joining CCM, Nick gained experience working at Empower Retirement in Andover, MA and Service Credit Union in Nashua, NH. His skillset will be utilized to aid portfolio managers in the investment decision making process. With the addition of Nick, CCM strengthens their research capacity and continues their legacy of hiring top talent from UMass Lowell. William Cox, founder of the company, graduated from UML with a degree in Finance before obtaining his MBA from Northeastern. In 2015, the firm hired Ethan Brown, who earned his MBA from UML, to fill the role of research analyst and assistant portfolio manager.
