Tissue and hygiene value sales increased in constant terms between 2009 and 2011 due to both volume growth and rising prices as a result of the good performance of the Uruguayan economy. In 2012, a slow evolution of unit prices combined with a decline in volume growth rates in areas that are maturing or already have high per capita consumption resulted in a decline in overall value sales in constant terms.
