New Market Report Now Available: Internet Retailing in Israel
In 2012, new taxation regulations were approved that supported growth in online purchasing, intensifying competition in key categories. According to the new reform, goods to the value of up to NIS1,200 can be imported tax free. The regulation gave internet retailing a positive boost, most notably in terms of media products internet retailing, which registered a 23% rise in value terms in 2012.
