New Market Report: Carbonates in South Korea
Off-trade volume and current value sales of carbonates increased by 4% and 7% to reach 981 million litres and value growth of 7% to reach Won1.3 trillion in 2012. On-trade carbonates saw 5% in volume growth to reach 367 million litres and value growth of 7% to reach Won819.1 billion in 2012. The market growth has slowed down, but is still showing positive growth. Most carbonates categories are showing positive growth of per capita consumption.
