In 2013 jeans posted growth of 5% in volume terms, faring better compared with the review period. This positive performance was motivated by low increases in prices, aided by the revaluation of the exchange rate in the case of imported brands, the presence of private label brands, as well as strong promotional activities, with appealing discounts from 20% up to 70%.
