New Market Report: Footwear in Romania
Sales of footwear recorded a somewhat better performance than sales of apparel in 2013, advancing by 2% in volume and 8% in value terms. The steeper increase in value terms is the result of the shift of consumer preference from budget category footwear to mid-priced or expensive footwear.
