Cider production is not regulated by quotas in Belarus. The government's regulation is only in setting up excises for products. Until 1 September 2011, excise duty for cider/perry was zero. From this date, new excise duties were set; however they are significantly lower than the excise duty for spirit-based RTDs or beer.
