Consumer Foodservice in Venezuela - New Market Report Now Available
Venezuelans suffered severe economic deterioration in 2009 and 2010 as a result of inflation and unemployment. Although economic conditions marginally improved in 2011, most households were still trying to adjust their income to new prices. Annual inflation rates of around 30% between 2008 and 2011 made it difficult to maintain previous acquisition power. As an overall result, consumer foodservice brands faced problems to develop and expand.
