New Market Study, "Baked Goods in Uruguay", Has Been Published
The fast evolution of unpackaged/artisanal bread prices in the last part of the review period significantly reduced the price gap with packaged/industrial bread. This combined with a wider product offer in the latter segment, a longer shelf-life and a constant improvement of consumer purchasing power producing better volume growth rates of packaged/industrial bread while those of unpackaged/artisanal bread showed a small decline over the review period.
