Recently Released Market Study: Sanitary Protection in Turkey
Sanitary protection continued to grow strongly in 2013, rising by 15% in current value terms to reach sales of TL592 million. This value growth was faster than the review period CAGR of 13%, reflecting increasing acceptance and usage of such products, primarily towels, in Turkey. Less than 70% of women aged 13-45 used sanitary protection products in Turkey as of 2012. Around 4.5 million women still do not use sanitary protection products, signifying strong potential for future growth.
