Soft Drinks Packaging in Romania - New Study Released
The economic crisis shaped consumer behaviour, with on-trade unit volume sales decreasing by 3% in 2012 as the Romanian population consumed more at home, with off-trade unit volume sales registering a 0% growth rate. Furthermore, consumers were quick to respond to special offers such as offering beverages at the same price but in an increased pack size ? most notably among carbonates, offering 2,500ml PET bottle products at the price of a 2,000ml PET bottle beverage.
