New Market Study, "Homewares in Hong Kong, China", Has Been Published
Homewares stagnated in current value growth terms in 2013 as compared to 2012. Consumers? increased exposure to the internet and other media and subsequent awareness of interior designs has spurred demand for homewares with sophisticated designs that can match their homes overall interior designs. Manufacturers were also keen to launch new homewares in this direction including offering premium quality in order to better target consumer demand.
