Regional President of The Chef’s Academy Joins Leadership Cary

The Chef’s Academy, the Culinary Division of Harrison College, a 108-year-old, nationally accredited institution that offers more than 30 degree programs in five schools of study, has announced that Regional President Jayson M. Royal Oaks Building Group To Join In Nov. 4 Donation Of “Hero Home” To Disabled Veteran’s Family

Rich Van Tassel, president of Royal Oaks Building Group, LLC, has announced the completion of the “Hero Home” that is being donated as a part of Operation: Coming Home II, a joint volunteer project led by the Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County (HBA) and the Triangle Real Estate and Construction Veterans (TREAC-V) that builds and donates homes for disabled combat veterans. A key ceremony will be held on Thursday, Nov. 4 at the site of the completed “Hero Home” located at 718 Sycamore Springs Drive in the Fuquay-Varina neighborhood of Southern Oaks. The ceremony’s events will begin at 9:30 a.m. and include a band and a collection of military displays. The key ceremony is preceded by a groundbreaking event that took place at the home site in July. The home site is being donated by neighborhood developer Gaines and Company.
