Both New Year’s Eve services will include a vow renewal for married couples, a time of commitment for teens and singles, and the reveal of World Overcomers Christian Church’s 2012 theme. The church’s praise and worship team, Frontline, will sing original selections from their 2011 Christmas album, “You Are the King,” during the family-centered services. World Overcomers Christian Church seeks to welcome people of all ages during these times, with adults and teens worshipping in the sanctuary, and children participating in a “Happy Birthday Jesus!” party presented by the children’s ministry, complete with food, gifts and a theatrical performance on the importance of Christmas. More than 500 children are expected to attend this portion of the Christmas services.
