Dave Rasel is an oil painter. Since many years, he has wanted to set up an artist booth and travel to different festivals so he can bring his work out of the studio and into the public. The time has come where Dave has a large enough body of work that he could start selling the originals and prints of his oil paintings. Recently, he applied to display at a local Art Festival called WaterFire, and his request was accepted. Dave is very excited about this opportunity to start taking his work to festivals. However, now he needs a mobile art gallery, or booth, to be able to show his work.

Dishes with Fishes, the popular KickStarter campaign that received over $35,000 last January in donations, is proud to announce the last shipment of rewards to backers. The new and improved dishes were created using a more expensive silk-screening printing process than before, as well as new blank dishes that were funded from the campaign. "The quality of dishes and inventory levels have increased significantly thanks to my 124 great backers" said artist Kim Rody. "Another unexpected benefit (of the Kickstarter campaign) was being able to decrease the dinnerware's pricing structure due to economies of scale. Because of increased quantities in printing and blanks, the per piece price went way down."

Tattoo artists can be found in abundance these days but one thing that tends to stand out in a very gifted one is talent, for sure. Many tattoo artists had the vision but it was Quori Senyon who ended up becoming one of the greatest tattoo artists in Chicago. The story of the popular tattoo artist is rather an astonishing one as his main source of inspiration comes from Disney movies. Right from his childhood, the tattoo artist loved watching Disney movies and even when his grandmother could not afford to spend on other things, she made sure to always provide her grandson with VHS copies. From Pocahontas to Belle and many other gorgeous Disney characters, the tattoo artist drew them all to perfection.

Anybody can capture an image but the true meaning of photography is all about capturing an image that has a story embedded in it. That is the Power of Photography and probably that is why they say that Photography is an Art. Photography is not just a hobby these days it is a profession. Many individuals now depend on professional photographers for different occasions such as engagements, weddings, birthday parts and many other special events. One of the main reasons for depending on professionals is their ability to capture the memories in such a way that these pictures would take them back to the event in a true sense.

Robert Stein has been working on this series for several years, starting with a piece based on his photos of Charleston, S.C. followed by a series based on an old stonewall shot in North Carolina. He has recently completed several pieces based on a small piece of a wall in the Wynwood art district in Miami. These works are “Altered” by combining photography, digital painting and acrylic painting with the architectural elements of surface projections and recesses. They are “Altared” by creating a space for the patron to connect with the piece by placing a token on the piece. This has led Robert to this current project to bring historically and spiritually significant walls to this work.

Boldly confronting gender stereotypes in art, Marko Stout innovatively subverts mainstream conceptions of female sexuality with his current series “Chelsea Girls”. In his multi-media series, Marko abandons the cliché of idealizing beauties as serene and attainable in accordance with male-dominated fantasies. His series opposes this convention by depicting young females as fierce and independent within their contemporary urban contexts. Each of Marko's fresh-faced girls reveal a strong, unwavering presence, while appearing oppositional to the spectator's gaze. With their confrontational stare and unwelcoming body language, they all undermine the male's observer and remain in control of their sexuality.
